ESL Instructor

Emily comes to EDT as a 2nd generation immigrant with a deep commitment to social justice.  As a student at UC Santa Cruz, she was a research intern on a farmworker panel and an intern with Environmental Justice Academy.  Even in high school, Emily participated in the Restorative Justice Center.  Our students and leadership highly value Emily’s commitment to equity.

Emily graduated with Honors in Linguistics from UC Santa Cruz and is now leveraging her passion for equity and her linguistics skills to teach our Beginning ESL class.
