Chris’s previous charter school teacher said that he was the brightest kid she had ever taught and he needed a more challenging environment to achieve his potential. Chris was accepted this year into Redeemer and his aspirations include Harvard.

Sam didn’t see the value in education and disrupted class when he felt inadequate. Today he’s turning the corner and understanding if he wants to be a vet he needs to get good grades and address his gaps.

Derickson started with us and in kindergarten with no English skills. He is performing at just below grade level and with our guided reading program he will be at grade level by the end of this academic year.

Daniel aspires to be a software engineer.   He impacts the RISE team with his middle school math skills and we have connected him with The Art of Storytelling Studio and the technology community to realize his ambitions.

Marci and Viri have excellent English skills and help with translations in ESL class.  But they do much more.  Both continue to impact our execution across RISE’s three programs, making us more culturally sensitive to NFO families.
